1. Who we are. Ryan Hook Coaching Ltd, trading as The Self Growth Formula, is the controller of your personal data. We're registered in England and Wales (company number 14228917) at Stone Cottage, Stockett Lane, East Farleigh, Maidstone, ME15 0QG. We have applied to register with the Information Commissioner's Office, and our registration number will be added here once it is issued. Contact: hello@selfgrowthformula.com.

2. What we collect

3. Your workbook answers. Your web workbook answers are encrypted on our server before they're stored, so they can't be read in our database, backups or exports. Nobody at The Self Growth Formula reads them, and our admin tools can't show them. If you choose to share your workbook with a coach, that coach can read your answers until you stop sharing, which you can do at any time. You can download or delete everything you've written at any time. The web workbook can't be printed.

4. Health information. We don't ask for health information, and we ask you not to include detailed health information in posts or messages. If you choose to share it with us, we'll use it only to respond to you, with your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Your workbook answers may also include health information if you choose to write it. Before you write anything, the web workbook asks for your explicit consent to store it, and records the date you gave it. We store it only so you can use your workbook, keep it encrypted and never read it. You can still use the workbook without consenting, as long as you leave health details out. You can withdraw consent at any time on the Your answers page, and edit or delete anything you've written.

5. Why we use your data, and our lawful basis

6. Marketing emails. We send marketing emails only if you've signed up to receive them. That includes when you download a free resource, take the Starting Point Assessment or enter a giveaway: each of those forms tells you that emails will follow. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

7. Who we share data with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the people who help us run the Programme:

Each provider acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement, except Meta (including WhatsApp), Stripe and Royal Mail, which are also responsible for the data they use for their own purposes under their own privacy policies.

8. International transfers. Some providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, your data is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or approved contract terms.

9. How long we keep data

10. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, take it with you (data portability), and withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

11. Security. We use reputable providers and take sensible steps to protect your data.

12. Age. The Programme is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

13. Changes. We'll tell you about any significant change to this policy.
